Sunday bricks and triangles

No laws on those brick walls… A wall is a boundary only if you don’t use it. Today, this one is my friend thanks to its skin-colored texture ;).

Sunday my lovelies is made for chilling they say, made for praying they say. Go and make it yourย day….I put on a 60’s inspired, thick black eyeliner, usually seen on the runway of Lanvin and these days Fendi. I kept my face minimal with makeup, as I wanted more focus on my eyes. However, a little bronzer does not hurt on those cheekbones. ๐Ÿ˜‰

The color of this blouse that I am wearing is one my faves. It goes really well with a blue denim-look. Not only does it chic-up the whole look but also adds a what I like to call ‘va-va-voom’ vibe. Anyways, no need to explain further, as you can clearly feel the depiction of this outfit through the images below. Enjoy and have a blessed Sunday! X, -B

ใ“ใ‚“ใฐใ‚“ใฏ (Good Evening)

Did you know that the digital camera, video camera, CDs, DVDs, and Karaoke were all Japanese inventions? hmm, well now you know my lovelies ;)..Oh and let’s not forget about instant ramen noodles (which I’m sure you already know this one but just wanted to emphasise as I am a Ramen Fanatic). Anyways, I just wanted to share with you all my enthusiasm and passion for this culture. Especially, their take on fashion and expression of personal style. In my eyes, when I look at Japanese street style or runway, there is never a fear of expressing whatever garment or accessory or makeup one pleases to wear. There is this freedom and liberation of expressing one’s style that makes their fashion speak and standout for itself. For such reason, today I channel my inner self to fulfill my rush of Japan-inspiration.

After this photoshoot, I went to eat at my favorite Japanese restaurant= perfect end to the day.

Sat ur day

Have you noticed ? In the word ”Saturday”, we find: ”ur day”.

Yes, that’s it guys, today, make it your day, because you are beautiful no matter what, and as cliche as it sounds and as cheesy as it looks, it is a reality. YOU ARE. So do like me, dress basic, change, modify, cut, replace. Do your thing. There is no recipe. Just what you feel good in. Some days you will crave an outfit by a designer, some other days you will simply want to wear what your little hands can do.

Creativity is happiness, doesn’t have to be a complex structured haute couture shirt made from a textile that you can only find on Jupiter. Can just be cotton-made, tucked in differently. Anyway, anyhow, anytime, I’m happy to receive all your messages and your views ๐Ÿ˜‰ love you all like a galaxy. X, -B

Spring Blossoming

Welcoming Spring with my new invented trend: the see-through pastel colored bands that can be incorporated into any pieces that are in need of revival. I got inspired because I have pounds of vintage clothes that I don’t wear as often, and I am a huge fan of throwing and mixing things together…so mixing the vintage with the modern makes me WANT to wear them again. Yay! Stay tuned, as more inventions are coming! X, -B

I’d rather take the bus

Sunday is a no school day, but my memories of childhood passing by and my hands touching this big yellow machine bring nostalgia to my heart.

A little girl, sitting up front, because the back intimated me, watching the road carefully. The driver is a sort of a hero, he can go left, right, fast, slow. He moves. We all move…

So this post is about moving. Everything moves, always, and today, I am following the rhythm, going with the flow. After all, isn’t sunday made for it?
Have a good one sweeties, keep in touch with the good memories. X, -B

LA for Loud Aesthetic

LA for Loud Aesthetic… Most people associate simplicity with silence. I think not. The whole interest is to be loud with simplicity. To be loud isn’t to create noise, but to create a vibration that can be felt in a distance. Be simple, yet find a way to fabricate a wave that will have its resonance through the eyes of others. I think that in fashion, wearing humble can also be wearing extraordinary. Textiles are a tool, YOU are the core. Extraordinary is a word, its meaning is a tool.

See…the concept is in fact very simple, but you can hear its resonance…..right?

Glass pyramids

My guide for a dazzling Saturday:

1-Walk around

2-Climb a fence

3-Find a place that defies moral and apparent physics

4-Discover glass-like pyramids

5-Surround yourself with windows

6-Be timeless, in your style, in your cells

7-Reflect and absorb; finally just dress free ๐Ÿ™‚

So much effort that I am exhausted…

Here, today, right now, and even tomorrow
The art of looking like you are doing sport when in fact you aren’t.
Just walking around town, wandering through small places that you discover throughout an average day, and dressing comfy to make sure you don’t worry about anything else than what you see.

Yes my beauties, it is important to sometimes just pretend ๐Ÿ˜‰ to sometimes not be bothered by the surrounding ways of culturally getting dressed.
Let yourself go, no matter what…X, -B
